After the body of the work, all students (with the exception of some creative theses) should have a page listing the full bibliographic information for all sources cited within the text. It should be labeled appropriately based on the style guide used to cite sources. For APA format, this will be "References." This heading should be centered, bold, and located at the top of a new page.
The entries will be formatted according to the requirements outlined by the APA Manual, 7th edition, and should be double spaced with a hanging indent.
To properly insert a hanging indent, please use the tab stops or indentation function rather than pressing the tab button.
In Word: open the paragraph dialog box (use pop out button on Windows or the Format menu on Mac) and select "hanging" for the indentation.
In Google Docs: under format, go to align & indent and open the indentation options. Select hanging.
