SABL's membership is comprised of individuals interested in biomedical information or health science libraries. These libraries may include the fields of medicine, nursing, pharmacy, osteopathy, dentistry, veterinary medicine, mental health, history of medicine and other health-related fields.
SABL meetings provide the opportunity to:
promote continuing education of its members by providing a program of interest
facilitate communication and cooperation among its members
encourage and promote the utilization and sharing of health sciences library resources
cooperate with organizations that hold similar or allied interests
mentor individuals interested in entering the profession
All SABL members, including student members, are encouraged to apply for the Patricia Auflick Memorial Scholarship.
