Southwest Arizona Regional Grand Rounds

Our purpose is to guide individuals in the process of presenting at Southwest Arizona Grand Rounds. Grand Rounds is a poster presentation venue offered twice a year to employees and students to present their Evidence-Based Research (EBP) projects, Research projects, and Case Studies.

This event is open to all employees and/or students to include, but not limited to Nursing, Physicians, Faculty, Graduate Medical Education (GME) Residents, Pharmacy, Dietary, Case Management, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, and Spiritual Care

The following are some examples of projects that may be presented:

  • Scholarly Research Project - publication
  • Evidence-Based Practice Project – bedside practice change
  • Quality Improvement Project – improve quality of care and reduce cost
  • Case Report - review

The following roles must submit their poster drafts to Clinical Education for approval 30 days prior to the event via the research application process:

  • Nurses
  • RN Residents
  • Capstone Students
  • Nursing Students
