Below are instructions to activate various mobile resources or ways to obtain access to particular resources when off site.  If you need any help activating resources, please just call the library at 602 933-4248.

Clinical Resources

UpToDate

Download the UpToDate app on your mobile device.While on the PCH campus, go to: https://www.uptodate.com/contents/search

 Click on "Log in" in the upper right.  Scroll down to Register Now.   Check the email you listed during the Registration submission.   Use that account on the mobile app or website.  You will need to log in on campus every 90 days to maintain your access.

Clinical Key (online books and journals) 
While on the PCH campus, go to Clinical Key's login page here to start the process for mobile access --Click on the OpenAthens login link.(Note if you don't already have an OA login, please email Stefanie to get a UN and PW).  In the upper right, click on "Logged in Via...." .  Then, Click on Activate to link your OpenAthens and CK accounts.  Enter your details and click Register.  Download the Clinical Key app on your device and log in with your OpenAthens credentials.

AccessPediatrics

This is not an app, it is for accessing your account remotely via a website.

While on the PCH campus, go to https://accesspediatrics.mhmedical.com/

Click on Signin in the upper right hand corner.   Click on “Signin or Create a Free MyAccess Profile”. Create a username and password (this is done again on the next screen). On the next screen enter the required information

Visual Dx (Decision support with images)
SSO Authentication for all PCH employees in the active directory. Mobile access available with password. You can register via the first email after accessing the website to obtain a password to use VisualDx on your mobile device and for CME certification. From the main page, click on “Get the Mobile App” and QR codes are provided.

AAP Red Book (Infectious Disease resource)
While on the PCH campus, click on https://publications.aap.org/redbook. Click on "Login" in the upper right.  You may use your AAP login and password or create a new account.  There is no longer a mobile app for Red Book.  AAP recommends you open the web site on your mobile device.

Pediatric Patient Education Online (from the AAP)

While on the PCH campus, click on https://patiented.solutions.aap.org/Patient-Education.aspx

Click on "Sign In" in the upper right.  You may use your AAP login and password or create a new account.  Use that account on the website.  There is no longer a mobile app.

Lexicomp 

While on the PCH campus, go to: https://online.lexi.com or https://online.lexi.com/lco/action/home

From the Lexicomp Online welcome page, click on the “Mobile Access Codes” link to get your subscription code to download the mobile app.  Select your platform and select NEW customer, “App is not installed”.  Follow the instructions. Please note that your Lexicomp mobile app asks that users register with your organizational email domain @phoenixchildrens.com
