Overview - Mobile Apps & Resources

Mobile applications are becoming increasingly popular and relevant to work in the health sciences. This guide highlights a number of mobile apps that might be of interest to health sciences students, faculty, researchers and clinicians. You can also see what apps are available on our AHSL loaner iPads.  If you know of a mobile app that you think would be useful to add to this guide, please let us know by sharing the link in the box below titled "Share Apps"

signpost Remember: while many mobile apps are incredibly helpful, they should be used in context with your knowledge of evidence-based practice.  Some of the apps in this guide will connect you with official sources of health sciences-related literature made available through the Arizona Health Sciences Library. If you have questions, don't hesitate to ask one of our librarians or the liaison librarian for your Arizona health sciences college.

Share Apps & Update Us

We'd like to hear what apps you think are most helpful for the health sciences or, as apps are being developed and changing all the time, let us know of any updates to apps already listed.  We're interested in hearing about apps on all platforms (e.g., Apple, Android).  Please suggest apps by emailing us.
